Hues of Seduction

The wind seduces leaves,
to hear its own melody;

Leaves seduce the sun,
to remain green and young;

The sun seduces people,
to stay relevant;

While people yearn for god’s seduction,
to attain moksha or freedom.

Note: Version 2 of the poem by the same title and first published in the collection, Life’s Not All That Unfair.
